Rain Resort
A classic hill station in India’s Western Ghats range, lies Mahabaleshwar, featuring various elevated viewing points. A resort in this view provides a picturesque beauty and a refreshing ambiance. The building is designed with a minimum façade and maximum inside volume to provide an appealing essence of nature.
A place where many come to enjoy the monsoon climate, the ultimate goal is to provide a satisfying break during the time of stay. The building was structured in a manner where no additional extensions were made, in order not to disturb the description of nature. Using the
existing trees to accommodate within the plan, brought in more artistic creation. The central part of the master plan was to evoke the landscape’s true spirit bringing up the charm of the building.

Road Cliff
Located in Trivandrum, this recreational project plays with the dynamic form of the facades, which are one of the striking features of the design. The playful interplay of massing within a varied scale aims to convey a sense of discovery with each step forward. The earthy hue palette compliments the built form by blending it with its surrounding. The playful interplay of massing within a varied scale aims to convey a sense of discovery with each step forward. The space amplifies the architectural style of modernism. The asymmetrical forms are one of the key features that aid to create a striking character. The grey-brown color palette of the building follows the “no boundary with nature” idea. Internal spaces contrasting with the modest external shapes are revealed through a modern interior that follows the same color-material motif. On the one hand, the close-to-the-nature wood theme and large wide-opening windows let the line between outside and inside fade, on the other – creates a glassy, weightlessness, open feeling that is more common to modern interiors.
