School around TREES

Schools are more connected emotionally than other needs. When the project was taken as a competition, the HM of the school briefed us from their perspective of being a student and becoming an HM for the same school. A school designed in the late 1960s had undergone many additions and substractions of buildings during the past 50+ years and the management had thought of making the available buildings to strengthen architecturally and structurally for smooth functioning.
In the proposal, we tried to keep the trees of the campus intact and use the existing footprint to create smooth functioning. In the process, we made the necessary corrections in movement and the building structure at a master plan level. In this Competition, we tried to address the masterplan corrections, designing of the new block, and the facelift work for the existing buildings.
